Police Beat for Aug. 5, 2010 A theft of an air conditioner compressor from a car in the 1100 block of Windy Lane between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Friday caused more loss than just the compressor. The theft was followed by a fire that completely destroyed the vehicle.
